1955 Established selling Fresh Fruit and Vegetables
1972 Trialled Frozen Food Retailing in 3 shops
1974 Stopped selling fresh to concentrate on the wholesale of Frozen Food
1979 Built cold store to offer public cold storage at Rochdale. This site now offers 6,500 frozen and chilled pallet sites.
1982 The first vehicles were purchased and delivered sales were undertaken. Today the fleet consists of over 100 temperature controlled vehicles.
1986 A cold store was built at Coleshill in the Midlands. Today the site offers 17,000 frozen pallet sites and a blast freezing facility. Coleshill depot
1989 Belfield was formed to partner frozen food manufacturers from overseas. Belfield now work with 7 overseas partners and serve all the UK major retailers, manufacturers and the foodservice sector.
1995 The Repack facility was established. It now repacks over 500 different lines.
1999 A new Head Office was built at Heywood in the North West. Frozen Food Sales for the North of England is undertaken from here. The site now offers 40,000 frozen and chilled pallet sites. Heywood depot
2000 Gillingham Cold Store was purchased to provide 9,000 mobile pallet sites. A depot in Ashford has now been added to increase storage space to 14,000 pallets in the South East.
2004 A new Depot at Seaham in the North East was constructed and opened in the summer. The official opening was performed by HRH The Princess Royal in October. The site has 33,000 frozen and chilled pallet sites. Opening of Seaham depot
2006

A significant proportion of the business assets of Celsius First were purchased from its Administrators. Businesses at Bellshill (Glasgow), Grimsby and Wisbech were purchased increasing Yearsley Group's cold storage capacity by over 50%. Also incorporated were a number of large managed distribution contracts including one from Hams Hall (nr Birmingham ).
