15 Million Hot Cross Buns were in Yearsley Group's Stores This Easter

Hot Cross Buns, Hot Cross Buns........ Yearsley Group was singing the traditional rhyme this Easter with more than 15 million buns stored in their cold stores.

Tens of thousands of pallets of Britain's finest treats were stored at two of Yearsley Group's depots in the Midlands. The Coleshill and Chesterfield cold stores were close to the manufacturing sites of these festive breads.

Tim Moran, Yearsley Group Sales Director said, "It is quite common for us to store seasonal lines, with stocks building up to high levels prior to the event and then delivered within a short period of time. Obvious examples are turkeys and mince pies at Christmas and ice cream in the summer. Our experience of this type of sale means we are very accomplished at it. Major benefits that we offer our clients include the fact that we can deliver on our own fleet of vehicles which means we have full control. Also NetStock our on-line information system is vital for both us and our clients at such times. Clients can view all the information they need about stocks and deliveries and inform us of any extra deliveries on-line and at real time. This obviously cuts down on time taken to contact an individual to get this information required."

15 Million Hot Cross buns seems like a mountain of bread but the systems Yearsley Group have in place ensured all our daughters and sons got theirs this Easter!!
