To coincide with their 50 th Anniversary year, Yearsley Group has updated their
vehicle livery. The design has evolved from the existing vehicles but gives a
contemporary feel to the fleet.
The Yearsley logo has been incorporated into the background of the unit whilst the information conveyed on the vehicle has been simplified. The vehicles now only convey the company name and website to improve the visibility of this information.
Alongside the new livery a specially commissioned vehicle has been designed highlighting Yearsley Groups anniversary year. Maintaining the blue colour of the vehicle all lettering is in gold with the words 50YEARS emblazoned on the side. Additional accessories have also been included. Trevor Lear the longest serving driver has the privilege of driving this vehicle. Trevor first started with the company back in 1966.
The standard design will be implemented on all new vehicles of which 27 have been ordered from Volvo, to be delivered over the next 12 months.
These 27 include additional vehicles to our fleet and some replacements. By the time all these vehicles have been delivered we will have a fleet of over 115.
Yearsley Group handle over 1,700 pallets a day across all parts of the supply chain starting with the storage of raw materials, delivery to the manufacturer, collection of finished goods through to delivery to retailers, wholesalers and other food outlets throughout the UK. The fleet is also a key part of the frozen food wholesaling division of Yearsley Group where branded frozen foods are sold to all the major supermarkets, regional multiples, the foodservice sector and within government contracts. The fleet provides an expansive distribution network supplying the whole of the UK daily.
